Thomas learnt his craft in Dublin from Ireland’s leading harpists — Máire Ní Cháthasaigh, Helen Davies, and Áine Ní Dhúill. Performing professionally since 1984, he has won multiple international awards, including first prize at the prestigious O’Carolan Harp Festival.

Known for his captivating solo work and collaborations, Thomas regularly tours with Riverdance violinist Máire Breatnach, the Colorado-based duo Acoustic Eidolon, and Faroese fiddle player Angelika Hansen as part of the duo Norðan.
